SÉO appoints new Director of Government and External Relations
The Société Économique de l’Ontario (SÉO) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Fatima Zadra as its new Director of Communications and Government and External Relations, effective today.
SÉO Executive Director Luc Morin explains, “To impart a new dynamic to the SÉO as we go through this period of restructuring, we have decided to enhance our efforts in the areas of communication and government and external relations. We are therefore delighted that we can now count on the expertise in dealing with the Government of Ontario and other government bodies that Ms. Zadra has acquired through her 7 years’ experience with ACFO-Toronto, Glendon College and the Ontario Ministry of Francophone Affairs. Ms. Zadra’s involvement in Ontario’s Francophone and bilingual communities and her experience in working with Ontario business leaders make her a valuable asset for achieving the objectives of the SÉO’s new strategic plan. My colleagues, the SÉO’s Board of Directors and I all offer her our warmest congratulations and our fullest cooperation.”
Ms. Zadra adds, “A dynamic economy, employability and immigration are the keys to vitality for minority-language communities. That’s why I’m so excited to become part of the SÉO and contribute to its innovative vision for the development of Ontario’s Francophone and bilingual communities.”
